In 1993, VPS partners Scott Veazey and Michael Shoulders purchased the Indiana Bank and Trust Building at Sixth and Main Streets in Downtown Evansville for the offices of their VPS Evansville operations.

From the beginning, the building was conceived to be a restoration of the old landmark facility as a high-performance office building. Natural daylighting and ventilation that had been so improtant to an earlier generation of architects who had no air-contiitoning or economical artifical lighting, became, once again, important design criteria for the restoration of this limestone building.
